Come join Neal Vander Helm and learn about the tools to use and their care, the 3 D’s to watch for, learn about the differences between pruning fruit and ornamental trees, when to prune, abnormalities and diseases to watch for, and how to make proper cuts. All key in maintaining a healthy tree!
Grasslands Nursery has a bathroom, lots of available parking, drinking water, and will provide snacks and coffee during lunch. It is recommended you wear layers to keep warm, warm shoes, and gloves/mittens. A good portion of this will be hands on outdoors. Rain, wind, or snow!
